The flight time for this tour is one hour and takes you east from Merrill Field up over the Chugach Mountains to the face of the Eagle Glacier. We take off from Merrill Field, fly up the front range of Chugach Mountains into the Eagle River Valley. Follow the scenic Eagle River upstream, over the Eagle River Nature Center all the way back to Eagle Glacier, to discover an audience of Dall Sheep and mountain goats. Your pilot will give you ample opportunity to practice game spotting. We parallel Crow Pass trail, a historic Iditarod supply route and follow along Eagle River as we fly back into Anchorage. A spectacular tour and great introduction to the area if you have limited time available.
